Thanks Nick for your reply,mine is a ford based car,a 1975 cortina.The chassis number on the car is the old cortina one,and the reg. doc. is for the cortina too,I understand that the spartan kit when new had it's own chassis number,I would like to find out what it was.As far as I can make out the DVLA say that it will need an SVA test,but I thought that only applied to new kits.The reg. no. is SBW431N.Any help will be much appreciated. mick

Sorry to say Its Not Registered as a Spartan and so You will Not be able to Register it
Spartans Will Not Pass SVA Test Without altering the Design and Great expanse
Yours Was last on the road in 95 if ever it has been ?
As for Original Chassis Number There's No Chance of Finding this
It was only on an ally Plate Normally on The Bulkhead near the FuseBox,However The Spartan Factory Has Been Closed Many Years and They Never Keep a Record of them anyway
